Demonstrator of horizontal stabilizer and ailerons in OOA technology

The demonstrator of horizontal stabilizer with necessary instrumentation was developed within TEBUK project implemented by the Institute of Aviation with the participation of the Warsaw University of Technology. The aim of the project was to develop a model methodology for assessing the impact of damage on durability and strength of structures made of modern composite materials, including OOA (Out Of Autoclave) pre-impregnants. The project assumed, among others development of a selected aircraft subassembly - a horizontal stabilizer, which was a demonstrator of a non-autoclave technology for the production of composite structures. The demonstrator was used to verify experimental numerical simulations of the composite structure's sensitivity to damage.
